Almond Buttercream Frosting

Almond Buttercream Frosting

This frosting is sweet and buttery and has a wonderful floral almond aroma. It's a great frosting for layer cakes and is my number one "go to" recipe when frosting sugar cookies.

This is an original recipe:

Almond Buttercream Frosting

3 1/2 c (390 g) powdered sugar
6 tbsp butter (room temperature)
4 tbsp 2% milk
2 tsp pure almond extract


1. In a medium bowl, beat together all ingredients until smooth.
Notes:
  • This frosting dries out pretty quickly, so keep any unused frosting tightly wrapped.
